GAMES TONIGHT - Prep football games are on

As of 2 p.m., the first-round high school football playoff games for all five New Bern-area teams are still on schedule, despite heavy rain throughout Eastern North Carolina.
At each site, lightning is a concern that could cause postponement.
West Craven will host Bertie and Jones Senior welcomes Lejeune. Havelock travels to Washington, New Bern is at Fayetteville Douglas Byrd and Pamlico treks to Topsail in Hampstead.
Kickoff at each site is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
